We are nearly halfway through the first month of 2021 and anyone who thought perhaps this year would provide some much-desired calm after the storm that was 2020 has likely already put that thought out of his or her mind.
The right-wing fascist chuds are going to continue to be a problem for us and I don’t really see it stopping any time soon. In fact, I predict it will escalate. Right-wing ideology is a cancer. We are now seeing live in real time just how cancerous it has become.
As for me, I’ve found it somewhat harder to meditate since the events at the Capitol in D.C. on the 6th, and it’s mostly because my mind seems to be racing at 1000 miles per hour. The whole thing is as fascinating as it is frustrating. It’s only a matter of time before a similar or even more extreme event takes place. We will just have to wait and see.
And remember, the only good fascist is a very dead fascist.
