I Have Seen The Many Faces

I have seen the many faces
of a night that can’t exist,
knowledge of my presence painted
on the walls
of my abyss.

I have seen the ugly faces
melting, dripping on some floor,
hunched over, I
am one of them;
all I can think about
is more.

I have seen the time disintegrate;
the night become the day;
the morning fade to nothingness,
one that will not
go away.

I have seen exploding faces,
windows shattering the wind;
the sun set to oblivion;
as it ends,
so it begins.
